Azstarys ADHD Mountain
Corium came to us directly to handle campaign creation for an ADHD medication launch of their new drug Azstarys. We created an environment where the patient and their caregivers heroically stood atop a mountain, reflecting on the journey an ADHD adolescent takes during the course of their day. Each 3D asset had to work within the mountain’s structure, while also representing a naturally occurring graph of the drug in their system from morning, to noon, to night.

To establish elements, size and ratio perspective, and a PreVis for the photography of the patient, we started gathering our assets to formulate a visual roadmap. Extensive ZBrush modeling was key to the success of this visual.

Next we employed our scanned asset database acquired through MetaScans of rock, dirt, trees and other elements of the earth. These assets are projection mapped onto our modeled mountains, where all elements have matched lighting, camera angles, lens select and focal lengths. With various lighting sources within the scene, multiple cameras were utilized to mimic the low warm light of sunrise, while still ensuring a focus on our patients, standing valiantly atop their carved mountain.

Photography of our patient family was captured with natural light standing on a rock pile to allow us the right combination of rim and front light, mimicking our sunrise. Final rendering and High Resolution post always includes some integration of stock elements back into the scene to break up reality planes. As always, planning and experience allows us to ensure the artistic needs are balanced with technical excellence.
